Let me see if I have this right. The politicians that we elected to represent us have passed legislation that prohibits law abiding citizens from using a legal product in privately owned establishments and they even have the audacity to include the word freedom in the name of the bill. Is there going to be a point in time when we take back control of our rights or are we just going to leave it up to these career politicians?

To answer the question a lot of people are probably already screaming, "No, I do not smoke." I quit cold turkey over 15 years ago and have developed an allergic reaction to second hand smoke. When I am going to be in an establishment where there may be cigarette smoke, I simply take an over-the-counter antihistamine tablet. I just wish there was an over-the-counter tablet that would help combat my increasing allergic reaction to politicians.

If the true concern was our health, our "representatives" would forgo the taxes they collect and just ban cigarettes. If the tobacco companies would decide to stop distribution of their products to this state, these same politicians that are so concerned for the non smokers now would be the first to file suit for depriving their constituents of their right to smoke and depriving the state of the tobacco revenue.
