Box tops, labels
really do count
Congratulations to all who clip and save their General Mills Box Tops for Education and send them into Century School! Out of the 1,872 schools in Minnesota that participate in this program, Century School ranks sixth for money earned! And out of the 89,856 schools nationwide - we are in 80th place!
Last year the school raised $2,577.30 by saving the Box Tops for Education (each one is worth 10 cents). This money is given to the library at school. It, along with other funds from the PTA, is the majority of the budget for the library. It is used to purchase books, AR tests and computer software.
The PTA also encourages everyone to save Campbell's Labels for Education, Tyson Project A+ labels and Kemps Give 'Em Five and Land O' Lakes milk caps. All are turned in for cash and educational materials for the school.

The labels, box tops and milk caps can be sent to the school with students, or dropped off at the school office. Coborn's and both J&B locations also have collection bins.
Thank you to everyone who has been saving these items. Let's try and be No. 1 next year!
