Bill requires photo ID in order to vote

Recently, the Minnesota House passed a bill that requires all voters to provide a photo identification (ID) before casting their ballots. Rep. Brita Sailer voted against this common-sense bill.

Every day people in Minnesota are required to have a photo ID to write a check, to buy a drink or to get on an airplane. But if I want to vote I won't need to have a photo ID, as long as I have one person who'll tell an election judge that I'm an resident of the precinct. Does this make any sense? And isn't this voting scenario just election fraud waiting to happen?

Election fraud has the potential to alter the results of any race. Voting is a privilege. It is disappointing that Rep. Sailer and the other liberal Democrats apparently do not want secure and accurate voting in this state.
