Another successful blood drive
Blood drive coordinator Cindy Rooney, along with St. Joseph's Area Health Services and the Park Rapids community, have coordinated and sponsored another successful blood drive in Park Rapids.
Forty-eight people volunteered to donate. Of those, 33 were able to give. In addition, six people gave blood for the first time.
Those who assisted with the drive were Ivy Douglas, Chrys Mortensen, Karen McCarty, Mary Ann Zuberier, Jean Grimes, Madeline Yliniemi, Shirley Hughes and Judy Peterson. St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church aprovided space to hold the drive.
