On Sunday, June 10, canoe enthusiasts gathered at the Red Bridge Inn for the first Professional and Citizen Canoe Race in over seven years. We wish to express our thanks to the sponsors and people that helped to make the "Red Bridge Run!" a huge success.
Thank you to the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, 3M Wonewok, St. Joseph's Area Health Services, State Bank, Lamb Weston/RDO Frozen, the Whistle Stop Parcel, TruStar Federal Credit Union, Wal-Mart, Safe Harbor Healing Center for the wonderful massages and the numerous volunteers that helped make this an exciting event.
(Rumor has it that many of the professionals wish to return next year, including "the Stump Team.")

Proceeds of the event will go to the Hubbard County First Responders, who were on-hand to make the course safe for the participants. See you next year.
