9th grade team
earns top spot
We would like to offer our congratulations to the Park Rapids 9th Grade Boys Basketball Team. On Saturday, April 1, they became the Region 8 PaceSetter Champions! They will travel to the PaceSetter's State Tourney July 9, where they will compete against the top teams in Minnesota.
This group of young men has maintained the same core unit of players since the 3rd grade and has worked hard to achieve a great team record. As parents, our special thanks go to their coaches, Shelli Walsh and Mike McDowell, who have remained dedicated to these boys since the very beginning, and to this year's Park Rapids 9th grade coach, Aaron Morris, whose dedication to conditioning got them ready to go. Thank you to their families who sacrificed in order that our players could learn sportsmanship and teamwork. You are all greatly appreciated.
