32 lawns done,
a few left to go
It's amazing what 450 young people can do in two hours! They raked 32 lawns (some of them very large) on Monday afternoon during Community Day of Service. The senior residents of Park Rapids were very happy and it was a big lift for them to see it happen so quickly. Thank you, students and staff.
We are grateful to Rotaract for helping finance the project and raking two large lawns. Thanks to Allison Insurance, Remax, Faith Youth, Church of Christ Youth and other individuals for raking, and Brad Dahn for giving us a great deal on rakes. Thanks to KPRM for announcing the project and the Lions Club for picking up all those bags. We are proud of this community for their goodness to our elders.
