Jack Burton Lindner, 72, of Lincoln, NB died Monday, July 10, 2006 at his seasonal lake home on Bad Axe Lake.

From 1952 to 1954 he was in the US Army. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1960. From 1960 to 1962, he was acting judge in Tennessee. From 1962 to 1971, he was a prosecutor and assistant city attorney. From 1971 to 1983 he was a private practice attorney and municipal judge. From 1983 to retirement in April 2006 he was county judge.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; four daughters, Pauley (Tony) Ahmed of Milford, and Hannah, Lis and Kit Lindner all of Lincoln; sister, Ann Harriman of Marion, IA; former wife, Norma "Pauley" Lindner; one granddaughter and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Sigrid.

Visitation: 5 to 9 p.m. Today (Saturday) and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday with family available 3 to 5 p.m.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, July 17 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln, NE.

Interment: Lincoln Memorial Park.

Memorials are preferred to the children's college funds.
