The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office has determined the cause of death of the Pelican Rapids woman who was found Tuesday morning. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the cause of death of 27-year-old Jamie Fox is hypothermia. The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol was a contributing factor. There is no indication of foul play regarding her death. Fox had last been seen at the Pelican Supper Club on Saturday night. The club shares a parking lot with the storage facility where Fox was discovered. Fox, originally from Sioux Falls, S.D., had been working at the Pelican Valley Health Center in Pelican Rapids as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) since 2012. Fox was living in Pelican Rapids with her boyfriend and 5-year-old son at the time of her death.
