The Clay County Sheriff's Department has identified a man who collapsed and died Sunday while hunting near the Clay County Landfill.
Dan Stetz, 47, who resided in Moorhead and was a long-time Fargo firefighter, was hunting with his son and other family members when he collapsed about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said.
Bergquist said it is believed Stetz's death was due to a medical condition.
He said the remains have been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
