The porcelain prize is found!

Over the weekend, a beautiful one to be on the lake, Upper Bottle resident Bill Jones (he likes to call himself “the OTHER Bill Jones”) located it in Lower Bottle Lake and photographed it.

Some lake residents had contacted the Enterprise two weeks ago to report it missing, but Jones found it and marked it with GPS points.

“The toilet is located in 4.5 feet of water,” Jones reported.

There an estimated 50 years, lake residents make annual pontoon pilgrimages to see the potty. Lake resident Harold Spillman seemed pretty perturbed when he couldn’t locate the porcelain watermark this year.
