Hubbard County in line for strong thunderstorms tonight

Hubbard County is in a severe thunderstorm watch and could see some strong storms throughout the night.

"You could get some damaging winds from that line of storms," said National Weather Service meteorologist John Hoppes.

"There's a pretty good storm in Aberdeen and one right behind it in Bismarck that are moving east, southeast," he said.

Tornado warnings have been issued for areas south of Hubbard County.

"It's a respectable" front moving in, he said. "It's getting up there.

The system carries the potential for isolated and heavy showers, he said.
