Holly Marie Crist of Park Rapids and Taylor Joseph Schlank of Grand Forks, N.D., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Charles and Cheryl Crist of Park Rapids and Ronald and Bonnie Schlank of Eagan.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Park Rapids Area High School and a 2007 graduate of University of North Dakota with a degree for athletic training. She's currently employed by Vacationaire Lodge in Park Rapids.
Her fiancé, a 2006 Mendota Heights graduate and a 2009 University of North Dakota graduate with a business management degree, plans to commission with the U.S. Air Force in December 2009 as a pilot candidate.
The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at First English Lutheran Church in Dorset.
