Hubbard County authorities blocked off a section of U.S. Highway 71 late Friday night to land a Medevac helicopter after an ATV crash injured one.
The accident, west of Lake George and a mile off the highway, occurred around 11 p.m.

The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder and possible collapsed lung. He was airlifted to an unknown hospital.
Numerous First Responders and officers from other agencies were called in to assist the helicopter’s landing while other crews drove deep into the woods to retrieve the injured man.
The rescue took more than an hour. The man is believed to be in satisfactory condition.
