Harold O. Salmonson, 80 of Minneapolis, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 after battling cancer.
He was born and raised in Becker County before moving to Minneapolis in 1951. There, he was employed in various jobs and nine years ago retired from a private vending business.
Surviving are his wife, Marcella; brothers, George (Mary) and Marvin (Martha); sister, Fay Vaisvila; brother-in-law, Gerald Carlson; sister-in-law, Carol (LeRoy) Carlson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21 at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield and one hour prior to service at church.
Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101-37th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Cloverleaf Cemetery, Willmar.
