One of the goals Nate Harsha had for the Park Rapids-Nevis gymnastics team this season was to score at least 120 points in a meet.
That goal was accomplished Monday night as the Panthers surpassed 120 points for the first time since the Section 8A meet in 2005 in a 122.40 to 120.60 loss to Bemidji at the Area High School gym.
"It's very satisfying (scoring 120 points)," said Park Rapids head coach Nate Harsha. "We had a lot of season bests and personal bests."
The Panthers used a 33.40 in vault, a 29.50 in floor exercise, a 29.25 on uneven parallel bars and a 28.45 on balance beam to top their previous season high of 116.65 points at last Saturday's Park Rapids Invitational.
Megan Lawrence's 8.70, Micah Rich-ards' 8.50, Kyja Penning's 8.40 and Annessa Feder's 7.75 gave the Panthers a season-high score in vault.

Richards' 8.50 led the Panthers to a new season high in floor. Penning's 7.70, Lawrence's 6.75 and Feder's 6.55 rounded out Park Rapids' team score in that event.
The Panthers tied their season high on bars as Penning's 8.20, Richards' 7.75, Feder's 6.80 and Lawrence's 6.50 led to a 29.25.
Park Rapids set a season high on beam behind Richards' 7.40, Penning's 7.30, Feder's 7.05 and Lawrence's 6.70.
Richards (32.20) and Penning (31.60) had personal-best all-around scores. Lawrence added a 28.65 and Feder had a 28.15 in all-around.
In the junior varsity meet, Bemidji posted a 95.10 to 75.50 win. Leading the Panthers were Gina Gartner (7.60) and Jessica Andersen (6.50) in vault; Gartner (5.90) and Andersen (5.30) in floor; Amber McGowen (4.50) and Katherine Erickson (4.50) on beam; and Emily Klingenberg (4.40) and Kirsten Erickson (3.20) on bars. Andersen (17.80) and Jessica Petrie (15.20) competed in all-around.
The Panthers host Frazee in a dual meet Thursday night.
