Wadena County Auditor Lee Brekke recommended reducing Jeorg Toll’s valuation by $3,000 “due to having the garage assessed twice.”
He made the same recommendation for Richard Severson for the same reason. “The garage was on there twice. We’re recommending a $3,000 reduction,” he said.
Finally, Brekke advised changing Ernest Huhta Jr.’s property classification from commercial to residential, explaining that classification is based upon the actual use of the property.
The board approved all changes.
