Gordon L. McNulty
Gordon L. McNulty, 84, of Milwaukie, OR died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1921 to Rudolph and Elma McNulty in Park Rapids. He was baptized in the Catholic church. He attended Park Rapids High School.
He married R. Yvonne Crowell Feb. 18, 1941. His military career began in the Minnesota National Guard. He earned a degree in electronics at USNTS in Farragut, ID. During World War II, he served in the US Navy in the South Pacific. He retired as a major from the Oregon National Guard in 1965. He earned numerous awards as an agent for State Farm Insurance, retiring in 1991, after 25 years.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, past president of the Optimist Club of SE Portland and a member of Milwaukie Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife; children, James and Dale (Srisuwan), both of Milwaukie and Paula (Ben) Arthur of Salem, OR; brothers, Frank of Illinois and Blair of Minnesota; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service: Tuesday, May 23 at Willamette National Cemetery.
