Gladys Adelia Kangas, 86, of Frazee died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2007 at the Frazee Care Center.
She was born to William and Viola (Seichau) Galbrecht July 24, 1921 in Evergreen Township, Becker County. She was baptized Sept. 11, 1921 and confirmed Aug. 4, 1935 at Zion Lutheran Church in Toad Lake.
She married Charlie Kangas Sept. 20, 1944 at Zion Lutheran Church. They farmed in Wolf Lake Township until 1990.
She was an active member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Snellman.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Peterson of Bothell, WA, Susan Kay of Seattle and Robin (David) Theisen of Rice; sister, Irene Ziegler of Frazee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; sister, Hazel; five brothers, Norman, Vernon, Billy, Bobby and John; and a son-in-law, Howard Peterson.
Funeral: 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Gethsemane Lutheran Church with Revs. Carlton Kangas and Larry Harvala officiating. Organist will be Evelyn Wehmas. Congregational hymns will be "How Great Thou Art," What A Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Amazing Grace."
Honorary casketbearers: Evelyn Wehmas, Shirley Clements, Doris Harvala, Hazel Eskola, Helen Laine, Stella Kangas, Cindy Aho and Elsie Salmen.
Active casketbearers: Doug Ziegler, Roy Wehmas, Gordy and Josh Oswald, Ivan Kangas and Rodney Salmen.
Interment: Pickeral Lake Cemetery.
