Gazelle Sarah Sackett, 100, of Park Rapids died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids.
She was born to Burton L. and Lilly R. (Wesenberg) Dutton April 19, 1907 in Dows, IA. She attended school in Iowa and in Minnesota.
She married Lloyd L. Sackett May 10, 1930 in West Concord. They moved to the Park Rapids area in 1951 and she worked as a cook in restaurants in both Park Rapids and Osage.
In 1999, she entered Heritage Living Center. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Park Rapids.
Surviving are her sons, Jimmy L. (Mary Jo) of Park Rapids and Dale L. (Connie) of Nevis; daughter June G. (Donald) Patterson of Rochester; sister, Hazel Huffdahl of Stillwater; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; son, Larry Gene, who died in infancy; three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral: Friday, June 1 at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Arthur Wood officiating.
Casketbearers: Her grandchildren, Karen Marchell, Kathleen Frohman, Gary, Paul and Brian Patterson, Jimmy Dale, Chad James and Ronald Sackett.
Interment: Henrietta Cemetery east of Park Rapids.
