Gas drops below $3 per gallon in PR

     Don’t let the signs fool you.

     Gas dropped below $3 per gallon Saturday morning in Park Rapids if you pay by cash or check.

     The signs say $3.05 per gallon, but many stations in Park Rapids discount sales 6 cents per gallon if you pay by cash or check.

     “Gasoline prices typically decline in autumn. This year, they're getting a big push lower from falling global oil prices. By the end of the year, up to 30 states could have an average gasoline price of less than $3 a gallon, according to a forecast from GasBuddy.com.”
