The Norman County sheriff's office says a 45-year-old man has been killed in a farm accident in northwestern Minnesota.
He's Dale Sirjord of Gary, which is about 40 miles northeast of Moorhead.
The sheriff's office says he was struck in the neck by a fan blade that came off a grain dryer at a site he owned northeast of Fertile.
Sirjord was pronounced dead at the scene. A friend who was with him and used a cell phone to call 911 about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
