The funeral for an 8-year-old Fargo girl killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday has been set for this weekend.

The funeral for Amanda Leininger will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fargo's Saints Anne and Joachim Catholic Church.

Her sister, 15-year-old Jessica M. Leininger, was a driver of a vehicle involved in the crash. She sustained injuries but was released from Innovis Health on Thursday morning, hospital spokesman Kris Olson said.

Jessica Leininger, a student at Fargo Shanley High School, was driving the Mercury Sable that was struck by oncoming traffic about 7:50 a.m. Wednesday on South University Drive at El Cano Drive. Her sister, Amanda Leininger, 8, who was riding in the back seat, died about 2 p.m. Wednesday at Innovis, Fargo police said.
