Filings for four seats on the Nevis School Board open Tuesday, July 3 and will close at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 17.
Three four-year positions will be on the ballot, currently held by Beth Kluthe, Gary Stennes and Kris Sauser. A two-year term, currently held by Ed Becker, will also be up for election.
Affidavits for candidacy are available at the school district office or by mail at PO Box 138, Nevis, MN 56467. Filing fee is $2.
The general election will be Nov. 6.
A candidate for this office must be an eligible voter, 21 years of age or more on assuming office, a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks office for 30 days before the general election and have no other affidavit on file for any other office in the same general election.
