A 27-year-old Fosston man survived an accident with a train early Tuesday morning west of Wilton.

According to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office:

Billy Jack Olson was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado along Buttercup Lane Northwest when he turned east onto some railroad tracks, believing them to be a roadway.

The pickup truck got stuck, and Olson was in the vehicle when an eastbound 120-car coal train came up behind him.
