Nevis mayoral candidate Elizabeth Foderick will not be running for mayor this November, although her name will remain on the ballot.
She was the only candidate challenging incumbent Ray Melander.
Foderick said she is moving to St. Cloud due to unanticipated family issues. She said she was running for the office so "a fresh face" could serve the city. "Competition is healthy," she said.
The mayoral seat is a two-year term.
