On Tuesday, March 10, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible structure fire in the 26000 block of Hubbard Line Road, Huntersville Township.

The first responding unit arriving on scene found the structure was almost completely burned to the ground. It was an unoccupied cabin, and no one had been to the cabin in several weeks, according to the sheriff's news release. Fire departments arrived and extinguished the fire. The cabin was a complete loss and the cause of the fire is pending investigation.

The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Menahga Fire Department, Sebeka Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol and Tri-County Ambulance.
