Fargo police are investigating a robbery reported Saturday where two men were assaulted.
The robbery was reported at 1:53 p.m. at an unlocked apartment at 2822 7th St. N., said Fargo Sgt. Jeff Skuza.
The individuals told dispatchers that one man was bleeding from the head and two suspects were involved. The men had a gun and put a hood over the victims' heads and hit them with a metal ashtray, according to police dispatch reports.
The two men were taken to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo but were not expected to stay overnight Skuza said.
"It's clear they were assaulted and property was taken," he said, adding authorities are still investigating.
