Fargo police arrested two juveniles after a fight in which a 9-year-old boy allegedly hit the other boy with a pipe on Sunday.
The fight was reported at 3:41 p.m. in the 1500 block of 16½ Street South.
Sgt. Mark Lykken said an 11-year-old boy was riding bike with a friend when the 9-year-old began to call him names. The two friends stopped, and the 9-year-old struck the 11-year-old two to three times with a green pipe, he said.
There was no sign of injury, Lykken said.
The 9-year-old was referred to juvenile court on suspicion of aggravated assault, and the 11-year-old was referred for simple assault for pushing the boy down.
