A south Fargo man was arrested on a charge of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle after reports of a car prowler early Sunday morning.
Christopher Cruz, 25, 1857 35th St. S., was arrested at 6:28 a.m. near Prairie St. John's, police Sgt. Travis Stefonowicz said.
A woman called police about a car prowler at 5:43 a.m., saying a man was looking through vehicles at Seventh Avenue and Fourth Street South and had opened up her car.
Later, someone else called police with the same description of the man.
A security guard at Prairie St. John's, 510 4th St. S., noticed a person walking around the area that matched the description of the man sought by police.

After his arrest, Cruz was taken to the Cass County Jail. He was still in custody Sunday night, jail personnel said.
