The family has identified the man who died in a house fire Thursday as George E. Libby, Sr. 58, of White Earth.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at the White Earth Community Center.
Firefighters discovered the body when they went to the scene of the mobile home fire in a secluded area of Sugar Bush Township. Libby was staying in the mobile home.
The home had been destroyed by fire, but firefighters trying to control the hot spots found human remains, according to Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon.
After a preliminary investigation, Gordon said no foul play is suspected and the fire appears to have started by accident.

The Sheriff's Department will not be able to positively identify the deceased and sign off on the death certificate until the results of DNA testing come back from the state in 6-8 weeks, Gordon said Wednesday.
"I truly feel for the family on this issue, but there's nothing more we can do until we get a confirmation on this," Gordon said.
