Emma Anderson
Emma J. Anderson, 78, of Menahga died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels, TX.
She was born Nov. 8, 1927 to Israel and Senja Junes in Menahga. She graduated from Menahga High School in 1945.
She married Leonard Anderson in 1947 in St. Cloud. She worked for Dan Marsch Drug Store in St. Cloud. She also worked for a time in Bemidji. They moved to California where she worked as chief clerk at Crocker Citizens. They returned to Menahga in 1969 and she retired from the Menahga Public School after 23 years.
She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Menahga.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Linda DeBord of Park Rapids; son, Bill of Menahga; sister, Eleanor Penman of Pittsburgh, PA; and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Edwin, Albert and Herbert, and a granddaughter.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday, April 28 at First English Lutheran Church in Menahga with Pastor Steven A. Bruer officiating. Erich Knapp will serve as organist.
