Students earn Dean’s List honors
Several area students have been named to the Northwest Technical College fall Dean’s List by earning a 3.5 GPA or higher while enrolled for at least 12 credits. They are Angela Emmeck of Akeley; Kimberlin Fish, Lauren Foster, Adison Laust, Kayla Lewis and Kaitlyn White of Laporte; Michael Neis of Nevis; and Jaime Eischens, Erin Gonska and Abbey Kimball of Park Rapids.
Ruby Blake of Park Rapids was named to the Dean's List at Wheaton College for fall semester for carrying 12 or more credit hours and achieving a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Chase Brand of Nevis was named to the fall Dean’s List at St. Cloud State University for achieving a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Thomas Vincent Aman of Menahga was named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester. Aman, a senior majoring in actuarial science, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Business for achieving a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
Peterson on Chancellor’s List
Alyssa Peterson was named to the fall semester 2020 Chancellor's List at the University of Minnesota Crookston for completing 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 4.0 grade point average.
Bagstad on Dean’s List
Isabel Bagstad earned a place on the Dean’s List at Bethel University in St. Paul during the fall semester for achieving a grade point average of 3.6 or greater. She is the daughter of Lance and Anita Bagstad of Park Rapids.
Weerts earns doctorate degree
Michael Weerts of Park Rapids graduated with a Doctor of Education degree in educational administration and leadership from St. Cloud State University at the end of fall semester.
Finckbone earns AA degree
Haille Finckbone of Laporte graduated with an AA degree in liberal arts and sciences from Northland Community and Technical College at the end of fall semester.
