The Century School senior walk, a Park Rapids Area Schools tradition, happened Wednesday morning as graduating 12th graders in their caps and gowns walked in formation through the elementary and middle school halls.

Members of the class of 2019 were greeted with low fives, smiles and, in the case of the kindergartners — the class of 2031 — the song, "Go Be Awesome."

It was an opportunity for students whose graduation day is still a long way off to see what lies ahead, and for seniors to bask in their admiration.

Graduation is at 2 p.m. Sunday on the high school football field, weather permitting; otherwise, in the high school gymnasium. High School Principal Jeff Johnson said the school is graduating 98 students, with approximately 90 walking in the ceremony.
