An Eagan man accepted a plea deal Monday in a meth case and asked to be sentenced to prison immediately.
Then Joshua Paul Carlson, 32, who was arrested in November 2011, indicated he wanted to persuade the Department of Corrections he wished to go to military boot camp.
Carlson was arrested with two other men, who have subsequently entered guilty pleas, in a raid in which drug task force members staked out a trailer home in Park Rapids, executed a search warrant and found a large quantity of methamphetamine, cash and other drugs.
Carlson pled guilty to a First Degree Controlled Substance Crime. He likely will get 74 months in prison.
He will be given credit for the six months he's spent in the Hubbard County jail since his arrest.
