Kandy Marie Pederson, 39, of 18606 335th Ave., Detroit Lakes has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for fifth-degree controlled substance crime, possession.
A gross misdemeanor charge of child endangerment was dropped in a plea agreement.
According to court records: On Oct. 9, 2007, she sold $100 worth of methamphetamines to a confidential reliable informant working for the Becker County Sheriff's Department. The informant met her at her house, and she left briefly in a vehicle with a child to get the meth.
She appeared Tuesday before District Judge Peter Irvine, who stayed adjudication of sentence for five years and placed her on supervised probation for five years. She was ordered to serve six days in jail, which she has done, and to serve 24 days on electronic home monitoring.
She was fined $1,000 plus court fees and ordered to remain in the Narcotics Anonymous program.
