A Detroit Lakes woman made her first appearance Monday in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of first-degree property damage.
Christina Rae Stewart, 28, of 20450 County Highway 21, No. 20, Detroit Lakes, is accused of throwing an object -- later identified as a dinner plate -- at the driver's side window of a vehicle containing a man and her two minor children outside her residence on Dec. 7.
According to the complaint, the man was at the residence to pick up the two children when Stewart allegedly became angry and threw the object at the window, causing it to shatter and glass to be strewn all over the inside of the pickup the man was driving.
Stewart has been released on $2,000 bond pending her next court appearance, at a Dec. 17 Rule 8 hearing.
