Jeremy Kenneth Conklin, 19, of 1113 Lincoln Ave., Detroit Lakes has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony financial transaction card fraud.
According to court records, in June he allegedly used a stolen Wells Fargo check card to obtain about $4,500 from a woman.
On Tuesday, District Judge Joe Evans stayed adjudication for 10 years and placed him on supervised probation for 10 years. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, with four days credit for time served. Work release and STS privileges were granted.
He was fined $500 plus court fees and must get a chemical use assessment.
