Burglaries/Theft: Aug. 13: A Boulder Lake caller reported theft by swindle, saying they paid approximately $27,000 to install an elevator in their home and the work was not done; A caller reported a theft at a job site in Grand Rapids; A 470th St. caller reported her motorcycle went missing within the past week;

Aug. 14: A State Hwy. 87 caller reported that a camper in her yard was missing in the morning;

Aug. 15: A County 29 caller reported the theft of a trailer out of his yard; A 119th Ave. caller reported tools stolen by caller’s sister; A Hubbard caller said her grandchildren were fraudulently claimed for stimulus money by their non-custodial parent;

Aug. 16: A public entrance alarm was tripped at a building at Itasca State Park when no keyholders were present;

Aug. 17: A Nevis caller reported their car was rummaged through and some cash and a watch were taken; A State Hwy. 87 caller reported the theft of a homemade trailer; A Henrietta Twp. caller reported the theft of a package on Aug. 13; An Akeley caller reported an accidental gas drive-off of $45.07, explaining that the person attempted to pay inside but the cashier didn’t notice that the card was declined; A County 19 caller reported identity theft;

Fires: Aug. 12: An anonymous caller was concerned about a huge fire people were having down the road, but caller did not know the address;

Aug. 18: A caller reported a car on fire on the highway, and said the occupants got out.

Medical: Aug. 12: An ambulance was requested in Farden Twp. for a male who collapsed, was briefly unconscious and possibly had blood issues; A medical alarm was activated in Farden Twp.; An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids; An ambulance was requested in Farden Twp. for a female who had a dizzy spell while lying down; An ambulance was requested in Farden Twp. for a 52-year-old male with who couldn’t see, was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech and a racing heart;

Aug. 13: An ambulance was requested on 150th St. for a female who fell down the stairs and possibly broke both arms; A lift assist was requested on County 39 for a male who needed help getting into his wheelchair; An ambulance was requested in Solway for a male with a history of heart problems, experiencing nausea and dizziness; A lift assist was requested for a male on County 39; An ambulance was requested on 200th St. for a male who couldn’t stand or walk and whose condition was worsening;

Aug. 14: An ambulance was requested for a male who fell on the side of the road and was having neck pain; An ambulance was requested on 470th St. for an 84-year-old male who fell, had a dislocated shoulder and couldn’t get up; An ambulance was requested on County 23 for a patient having chest pains and shortness of breath;

Aug. 15: An ambulance was requested in Arago Twp. for a patient with low blood sugar who was breathing but not awake; An ambulance was requested on 200th St. for an elderly female who fell backward and was not acting right; An ambulance was requested on County 6 for a female who has been unable to walk on and off for six weeks; An ambulance was requested in Steamboat River Twp. for a female who passed out and was now coming to; An ambulance was requested in Farden Twp. for a possibly broken knee;

Aug. 16: An ambulance was requested in Nevis Twp. for a female who broke her leg earlier, was sent home by the ER and was now in extreme pain; An ambulance was requested on County 20 for a 71-year-old male possibly having a stroke;

Aug. 17: A medical alarm requested a lift assist on 193rd Ave.; An ambulance was requested on County 33 for a male having a severe allergic reaction to a sting; An ambulance was requested in Nevis Twp. for a 73-year-old female possibly having a stroke; An ambulance was requested in Crow Wing Lake Twp. for a female who was alert but wouldn’t speak; A lift assist was requested on County 39; An ambulance was requested on 305th Ave. for a male who had chills and bad chest pains and couldn’t breathe well; An ambulance was requested on 346th St. for a 48-year-old male who passed out on the lawn;

Aug. 15: A Crow Wing Lake Twp. caller reported a couple vehicles parked on the side of the roadway had their tires slashed during the night; An open-line 911 call from 406th St. had no distinct sounds, and there was no answer on callback; An open-line 911 call from Lake Emma Twp. had classic rock music in the background and no answer on callback; A County 97 caller requested advice on what to do about the previous residents of property he has purchased, who came back and were taking items out of the shed; A Hubbard Twp. caller reported a front door was open at a home whose owners haven’t been there for three weeks, and the owners told caller nobody should be there and they locked it when they left; An anonymous caller on County 4 was concerned about two vehicles with trailers entering the area and all of the activity going on at the campsites;
