Nov. 22: A possible car in the ditch was reported; A County 48 caller said her daughter slid off the road and hit a mailbox and some trees, but daughter was fine and made it home with the vehicle, but they were unable to reach the owner of the mailbox.
Animal Related: Nov. 19: A cow was reported out on the roadway;
Nov. 20: A County 6 caller reported losing a black Lab with a red collar and a smaller brown Chihuahua; A black cow with a red tag was reported walking down the road; A caller reported hitting a deer that would need to be dispatched, and caller requested a deer permit; A caller reported a vehicle hit a deer and caller wanted a possession tag;
Nov. 22: A caller suspected the occupants of a Dodge extended-cab truck were road hunting; A Nevis caller said her fence was open and two dogs came into the yard, described as a white German shepherd mix and a smaller tan dog.
Assaults/Harassment: Nov. 19: A caller complained about someone following them and making inappropriate gestures; A Farden Twp. caller reported her nephew punched her in the face.
Burglaries/Theft: Nov. 19: A motion alarm was tripped on County 91 and security company was unable to reach anyone at the address; A Lakeport Twp. caller reported an iPad stolen from her residence;
Nov. 20: A County 48 caller reported receiving scam calls during the past two days; An Akeley Twp. caller was concerned that a company they asked to clean their chimney did not seem to have done it correctly and now had caller’s personal information; A Straight River Twp. caller suspected he was scammed by a shipping company he had hired to transport a trailer to Arizona; A service door alarm was activated on State Hwy. 34 in the Park Rapids area; A residential burglar alarm was activated in Lakeport Twp.; A hall motion alarm was tripped in Lakeport Twp. and no keyholder could be reached;
Nov. 21: An alley grocery door alarm was activated in Nevis; A Nevis Twp. caller reported a phone call asking her to get a $500 gift card at Walmart; A White Oak Twp. caller reported her son stole her vehicle sometime during the last week.
Medical: Nov. 19: A medical alarm was activated in Todd Twp., requesting help for an elderly female having difficulty breathing; An ambulance was requested on 201st Ave. for a male who passed out from a chair and was now conscious but confused; An ambulance was requested on State Hwy. 87 for a female with a history of heart issues, possibly having a panic attack; An ambulance was requested in Akeley for a male possibly having a heart attack;
Nov. 20: An ambulance was requested on U.S. Hwy. 71 for a male with a fast heart rate; An ambulance was requested in Todd Twp. for an elderly female who fell, possibly breaking a hip; An ambulance was requested at the Hubbard-Wadena county line for an elderly female who fell and lay on the ground for about 20 minutes;
Nov. 21: An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a female vomiting and having chest pains;
Nov. 22: An ambulance was requested in Nevis Twp. for a female who fell out of bed; an ambulance was requested in Todd Twp. for a female who passed out.
Miscellaneous: Nov. 19: A U.S. Hwy. 71 caller reported concerns about the title of a vehicle he sold not being transferred; A caller was suspicious about a male driving a Dodge Durango with no plates; A suspicious vehicle was reported; A 189th Ave. caller wanted an officer to call regarding his son’s phone; An officer did a business check in Nevis;
Nov. 21: A Farden Twp. caller was suspicious about a Nissan four-door pickup caller hadn’t seen before at a home that was for sale;
Nov. 22: An Akeley caller complained around 12:30 a.m. that the neighbor across the street was building something and was making a lot of noise.
Traffic: Nov. 19: A Ford F-150 with dealer plates was stopped;
Nov. 20: A motorist assist was requested;
Nov. 21: A motorist carrying $3 requested assistance when their Toyota Matrix ran out of gas on the highway;
Nov. 22: A caller who was riding a bicycle around 4 a.m. complained about the snow making things slippery; A motorist assist was requested in Park Rapids; An officer assisted with two vehicles on the side of the road.
