The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office has identified and interviewed nine male juveniles who were responsible for damages to Blueberry Pines Golf Course in mid-October, according to a news release.

The juvenile suspects were from the Menahga, Buffalo and Greenfield areas. The report said the case is being forwarded to the Wadena County Attorney's Office for formal charges.

Six golf carts were taken for a joy ride throughout the golf course over the weekend of Oct. 18. According to the sheriff, a preliminary cost estimate shows damages will exceed $40,000 in replacement and repairs. The release said the full extent of the damage will not be known until spring.
