Animal Related: Dec. 5: A caller complained about two dogs running loose onto the roadway; A caller reported a “blonde looking” dog running around for a while and was worried that it had been abandoned;

Dec. 8: A State Hwy. 34 caller reported a deer needing to be dispatched;

Dec. 9: A Lake Emma Twp. caller complained about a cow on his property; A Todd Twp. caller reported that their neighbor’s St. Bernard was outside with no food, water or shelter;

Dec. 10: A Lake Emma Twp. caller complained about a milk cow loose in their yard;

Dec. 11: A Sanford Health nurse reported a patient bitten by their own dog on 169th Ave.; A Nevis caller reported two dogs being left outside in cold weather; A caller reported hitting a deer but didn’t know if she killed it; A deer needing to be dispatched was reported.

Assaults/Harassment: Dec. 5: A 498th St. caller said her kids were being harassed by their cousins on the bus and that she was also being harassed;

Dec. 8: A Clover Twp. caller reported his 15-year-old stepson was screaming at the child’s mother, pushing and being physically intimidating.

Burglaries/Theft: Dec. 7: A kitchen alarm was tripped in Lake Emma Twp.;

Dec. 8: A front door alarm and a main cabin motion alarm were activated in Hubbard Twp.;

Dec. 9: Theft at a job site was reported; A caller on the Beltrami County line reported internet fraud on their website;

Dec. 10: A State Hwy. 34 caller reported fraudulent transactions with a business credit card; A residential tampering alarm was activated on County 40 and alarm company could not reach the owner; A residential panic alarm was tripped twice in Lake Emma Twp.;

Dec. 11: A Lakeport Twp. caller reported her bank account was hacked; A State Hwy. 87 caller reported a possible scam solicitation email; A Lake Emma Twp. caller reported their alarm company alerted him that his south door alarm was going off.

Fires: Dec. 11: A 410th St. caller reported the woods were on fire behind their neighbor’s residence.

Medical: Dec. 5: An ambulance was requested for an occupant of a Honda who had a fat heart rate and whose limbs were going numb;

Dec. 6: An ambulance was requested on County 12 for a 91-year-old female possibly having a stroke;

Dec. 7: An ambulance was requested in Henrietta Twp. for a male having seizures; An ambulance was requested on 390th St. for a male who fell into an oven and had a laceration on his head;

Dec. 8: An ambulance was requested in Schoolcraft Twp. for a female who was vomiting and going in and out of consciousness;

Dec. 9: An ambulance was requested on County 3 for a 67-year-old male having trouble breathing; A medical alarm was activated in Crow Wing Lake Twp. for a male who fell after recently having hip surgery;

Dec. 10: An ambulance was requested in Badoura Twp. for a male possibly having a stroke; A Lake George female who had vertigo wanted to speak with a nurse.

Miscellaneous: Dec. 5: A caller reported a large truck abandoned within sight of State Hwy. 64, looking like it had been there for a while; Two school walk-throughs were requested in Nevis; A U.S. Hwy. 2 caller was suspicious about a pickup that wasn’t supposed to be there;

Dec. 6: A County 9 caller was suspicious about a vehicle parked across from his residence for the past four hours with tail lights on; An Arago Twp. caller requested guidance regarding a civil issue with a pending child custody hearing; The Laporte School reported that the principal had tobacco vaporizers to be picked up; A Hubbard Twp. caller had questions about what to do with his granddaughter;

Dec. 7: An abandoned vehicle with hazard lights on was reported parked at Kabekona Corner, not causing a traffic hazard; A County 20 caller reported his mailbox was shot with a shotgun; An officer did a business check in Nevis;

Dec. 8: A caller reported someone shot a gun out of a truck at the Upper Bottle Lake access; A County 23 caller turned in a book of fishing derby raffle tickets that he found on the floor of his car parked at his house, and caller said tickets did not belong to him and he had no idea how they got there; A Park Rapids caller reported a Chevrolet Impala off the roadway, apparently abandoned;

Dec. 10: A 911 hang-up call was traced to a County 45 location and there was no answer when called back;

Dec. 11: A business check was requested in Nevis; A school walk-through was requested in Nevis.

Traffic: Dec. 5: An Akeley caller reported someone in another vehicle cut her off and flipped her off;

Dec. 6: An officer checked out a vehicle on the side of the roadway that was causing a traffic hazard; An off-duty deputy saw someone with a suspended license driving on a public roadway; A Nevis caller complained about two cars parked on the roadway, making it difficult for traffic to go by;

Dec. 7: An officer assisted a motorist on the side of the road; A caller complained about an SUV swerving all over the road;
