Burglaries/Theft: Aug. 12: A State Hwy. 87 caller reported a stolen credit card had used at numerous places;
Aug. 13: A Farden Twp. caller reported check crimes;
Aug. 14: A 200th St. caller reported receiving threats; A lobby visitor from State Hwy. 87 reported receiving a bad check; A Lakeport Twp. caller reported a missing grill and suspicious activity, giving the tags of a vehicle seen at the 3rd Base Bar & Grill.
Medical: Aug. 12: An ambulance was requested in Lake Emma Twp. for an 89-year-old man on the bathroom floor who was weak and had thrown up;
Aug. 13: A medical alarm was activated on 235th St.;
Aug. 14: An ambulance was requested in Henrietta Twp. for a male who hit his head on Aug. 13 and was having trouble breathing; An ambulance was requested in Schoolcraft Twp. for a male having trouble breathing; An ambulance was requested on 150th St. for a male whose legs gave out and who couldn’t get up.
Miscellaneous: Aug. 12: A Farden Twp. caller wanted a female who was throwing things around removed from the house; A caller reported that a male pulled his car over and said he was a pimp and wanted the female to go to the Cities with him; A County 11 caller reported a mailbox was damaged overnight, not for the first time; A U.S. Hwy. 71 caller reported a white foamy substance on both sides of the highway north of Eagle View Golf Course; A 498th St. caller requested assistance getting her son back from his father; A County 50 caller reported hearing strange noises and requested extra patrol in the area;
Aug. 13: A 219th Ave. caller reported the littering of a refrigerator; A U.S. 71 caller was suspicious about a male on a bike who ran into one of the mirrors on caller’s vehicle and broke it, saying the cyclist was lying on the ground but he said he was fine, and now the bike was lying there but cyclist was nowhere to be found; A Park Rapids caller requested officer assistance regarding issues with their father posting things online; An abandoned car was reported; An officer checked out a suspicious vehicle;
Aug. 14: A 470th St. caller wanted to speak with an officer about his landlord telling him he has until 5 p.m. to move out; A 911-only phone was continuously calling Cass County dispatch from a State Hwy. 64 address; A Helga Twp. caller reported hearing a female scream and possibly people walking around the house; A 470th St. caller was suspicious about being able to hear someone outside and seeing a light in a vehicle at 11:48 p.m.
Traffic: Aug. 13: A caller reported a water plane apparently having engine problems; A truck was reported swerving all over the road; A logging truck was reported broken down on a curve, off the road on a shoulder but possibly a traffic hazard without lights; A complaint about someone speeding was passed on to Wadena County and the State Patrol;
Aug. 14: A County 1 caller reported that a construction crew did not have much posted and cars were flying by, so caller was worried someone would get hurt; A 169th Ave. caller reported a four-wheeler speeding and dearing up the ditch; A caller reported a vehicle swerving all over the road and almost hitting another vehicle; A Park Rapids caller complained about boats going too fast in a no-wake zone.
