Texas police make arrest in 2016 hit-and-run that killed central Minnesota teen

WACO, Texas — Police in Texas have arrested a woman in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a Fergus Falls teen more than two years ago, Waco ABC affiliate KXXV-TV reports.

David Grotberg, a 19-year-old student at Baylor University, was hit and killed by a speeding vehicle while riding his bike in October 2016. After hitting Grotberg, the vehicle drove off.

Police arrested 50-year-old Tammy Blankenship Harlan in connection with Grotberg's death Tuesday morning, March 5.

She is being held on charges of failure to stop after a crash resulting in death.
