Central Minnesota authorities investigating drive-by shooting, no one injured

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - A drive-by shooting, with no injuries, was reported shortly before midnight Friday, Nov. 23, in Hudson Township southeast of Alexandria.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a caller reported hearing several gunshots and a vehicle leaving an area near County Road 17 and County Road 31, northeast of Forada and southwest of Nelson, at a high rate of speed.

When deputies responded, the caller said four to five shots were fired and the vehicle left the area traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. Deputies went to the residence they believed was involved in the shooting on County Road 17 and found two individuals outside the home who stated someone had just shot up their house.

No one was injured. Deputies found shell casings and six bullet holes in a garage and the residence.
