The two-day event kicked off with a pet parade Thursday morning. All participants were awarded prize drawings – gifts from downtown businesses.

The Park Rapids Downtown Business Association and Friends of the Library sponsored free magic shows, held in Pioneer Park.
Music coursed through the streets all day, thanks to Smoke Stack, a five-member drum group from Pine Point, and 2nd Street Stage’s outdoor concert featuring .Rich Mattson and the Northstars.
