Longtime Hubbard County Commissioner Lyle Robinson won re-election over Marty Steffel, a businessman who has opposed Robinson in the past.

Robinson will continue working as commissioner for Dist. 4 in Hubbard County.

He gathered 1,099 votes while Steffel had 936 votes.

State House Representatives

In the Dist. 2B Minnesota House race, incumbent Brita Sailer fended off a second challenge by Republican Doug Lindgren.

She gathered 10,773 votes while Lindgren gathered 9,117.

This will be Sailer's third term as representative for Dist. 2B.

In Dist. 4B Republican Larry Howes defeated challenger Meg Bye (DFL) to keep his seat.

Howes had 12,820 votes while Bye had 11,032 votes.

Kent Eken (DFL) defeated Republican Steve Green in Dist. 2A to keep his seat.

Eken received 11,411 votes compared to 6,535 for Green.

Republican Mark Murdock won the Minnesota House 10B seat over Tim Nieminen, the DFLer from Wadena.

Murdock had 11,477 votes in the district and Nieminen had 8,226.
