Constance L. Schlattman, 88, of Park Rapids died Sunday, May 27, 2007.
She was born April 20, 1919 in Belmar, NJ, to Edward and Emigene Hendrickson. She moved with her family to Boston and attended private school in Brookline, MA.
She joined the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She was stationed at Peterson Air Field in Colorado Springs.
In 1944, she married Donald Schlattman in Colorado Springs. Following her honorable discharge, they moved to Moorhead. After living for a short time in Wheaton and Ada, they moved to Park Rapids in 1958.
She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids.

Surviving are her children, John Edward (Kathie) of Tucson, AZ, Deanna Beetcher of New Hampshire and Brian Ward (Marcia) of Little Falls; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986, two brothers and a sister-in-law.
Service: A private family service was held May 30.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
