Park Rapids and Menahga will host a community get-together with law enforcement tonight, called Night to Unite.

Both events run from 5-7 p.m. The Park Rapids event is at the Law Enforcement Center; Menahga's is at Memorial Forest Campground.

Each year the first Tuesday in August is set aside for communities and counties throughout the state of Minnesota as well as nationally to celebrate local partnerships in preventing crime.

There will be demonstrations, fingerprinting and food.
