Chris and Jeanie Coborn are now at the helm of the Chester Charles II, having purchased the vessel from Mickey and Tom Coborn Sr.
The 1948 boat docks at the Port of Douglas Lodge at Itasca State Park and guides passengers on the route taken by Ozawindib when he guided Henry Schoolcraft to the source of the Mighty Mississippi in 1832.
The Chester Charles II offers daily tours, private charters and will host special occasions, such as weddings and anniversaries with a catering service available.
